Nam Joo-hyuk, Lee Yi-dam, Kim Eui-sung and Park Hoon have joined Code, a Disney+ original directed by Yoo Su-min, whose Weak Hero series attracted an international audience.
The mystery thriller centers on a lawyer who becomes entangled with an application that appears able to fulfill wishes. Its promise draws the characters into a widening struggle over desire, responsibility and the truth behind the software.
Nam plays Yoon Tae-joo, a lawyer accustomed to operating outside the law. Lee plays prosecutor Park Ji-dam, who pursues both Tae-joo and the secret of the app while navigating a wary relationship shaped by their past.
Kim portrays North Korean defector and hacker Jo Cheol-ho, an uneasy ally to Tae-joo. Park appears as violent-crimes detective Lim Chang-jae, who helps trace the app's origins and consequences.
Yoo is expected to bring the same close attention to character emotion that marked his earlier work. Code is scheduled for a worldwide Disney+ release in 2027.
